February 17, 2014 Los Angeles – AMI announced today that it has been named a Laserfiche Winners Circle Achiever.
George Bandarian II, President & CEO of AMI is excited to accept the prize for the 11th straight year from 2004 to 2014. “The partnership between AMI and Laserfiche is stronger than ever. We’re happy to work with this excellent ECM solution that simplifies work for our customers every day.”
“AMI had a very successful year selling Laserfiche software,” said Chris Wacker, Executive Vice President at Laserfiche. “We anticipate great things for 2014!”
2013 was a very successful year for AMI. The City of Newport Beach, CA implemented an entirely new paperless records repository with the help of AMI. At the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, CA, AMI completed a campus-wide Electronic Content Management initiative, including the conversion of all paper records to digital files. A very similar feat was accomplished at Los Angeles Unified School District’s Police Department (LASPD) where AMI scanned all case reports on-site into their new Laserfiche system, helping them move without all the file cabinets and start paperless at their new location. AMI further implemented and migrated the Records Management System for LA Impact, the Law Enforcement Task Force compiled of 38 local police departments aimed at coordinating efforts and resources to combat serious crime across the greater Los Angeles area. This system also provides full DOJ compliance. Those are only four out of many projects for AMI in 2013 that resulted in high customer satisfaction and more efficient processes.
Since 1999, the Laserfiche Winners Circle Program has recognized top-selling achievers within the Laserfiche value-added reseller (VAR) community. Winners Circle Achievers were recognized at the awards ceremony, which was held on January 19 in Palm Springs, CA.

To the right, you’re looking at a picture of our original logo, hand drawn by our founder, George Bandarian Sr. During the 1960’s Mr. Bandarian was working as a microfilm sales and service technician for Kodak helping companies go paperless – back when paperless was microfilming a room full of documents to save time, money and space. It seems archaic now, but our mission has not changed.
American MicroImaging, inc. (AMI) was founded as a microfilm service bureau in 1968. Under the name of American Micrographics Co., LTD the company grew over the years hand-in-hand with technological advances to meet customer demands. AMI currently stands as one of the strongest document conversion houses in all of Southern California. In the summer of 1998, in response to our client's needs, AMI relocated its headquarters and production facility in order to support the continued growth of our business. AMI now provides retrieval and archival solutions, systems, and services for mid-sized paper-intensive companies. AMI specializes as a service bureau and as a systems integrator providing uniquely tailored solutions for our clients. We have a high-scale production facility for the document conversion services we offer. A full staff of engineers, technicians, and sales associates are available to help customers configure their desired systems. For this reason, we are able to provide our clients with the truly best solution according to their unique application.
AMI works very closely with clients from the initial contact to installation, and continues through to many years of support. Our full staff of customer support personnel and technical staff are always on hand to assist any question, problems, or requests a client may have.

Through the years, we have earned the trust of our clients - both large and small, and have developed a remarkable client list that consists of varied industry disciplines.
